The Bronte Village community is on the verge of exciting changes. With new interest, development, and revitalization occurring all over the Bronte area, the relevancy of the BIA is more important now that ever. The BIA itself has undergone some key changes and transitions with a new Board of Management and a new Executive Director, Pat O’Reilly.
In her new role Pat will be working with the Board of Management on behalf of all Bronte-area merchants and businesses to increase the visibility and prominence of Bronte Village. A former resident of Oakville, Pat has been a witness to the changing face of Bronte Village - West Oakville community. Pat hopes that her skills in business management, government and stakeholder relations, marketing, tourism/hospitality, major event organization and her entrepreneurial background and spirit, will allow her to make a contribution to the Bronte Business Improvement Association. She sees Bronte Village as a neighbourhood for which there is tremendous opportunity!
During her more than twenty year career, Pat has extensive experience in the tourism and service related sectors, most recently as Executive Director of Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival. In addition to operating her own business ventures and being an active community volunteer, she has served as Past Chair and Board Member of Tourism Burlington and Past Member of Team Burlington.
