3rd ANNUAL COMEDY DINNER SHOW AND SILENT AUCTION
On Friday May 5, 2006, the Bronte Village BIA presents its Annual Comedy Dinner Show.
This evening we will also host a Live and silent auction with proceeds going to support Bronte BIA annual
Canada Day Celebration and Fireworks
The Oakville Conference Centre, 2525 Wyecroft Road is the venue and the dinner is Roast Beef**. Auction items will be on review starting at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
Three of Canada’s best comics, Evan Carter, Judy Croon and Oakville’s own Meg Soper will entertain you with their own unique brand of humor
Evan Carter is a Toronto based stand-up comedian and show host and MC for this event. His versatility, experience and professionalism has served him well and Carter can move easily from concert halls, opening for such acts as Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Air Supply, Dionne Warwick and many other top names in the world of showbusiness. Sit back relax and have a good hard laugh at life with Evan Carter.
A mother of two and a part time nurse, Meg Soper is recognized as one of the premiere female comics in Canada. With her unique perspective on life, she is able to captivate the most diverse comedy audiences and has worked alongside such leading comics as Ellen Degeneres, Gilbert Godfried and Paula Poundstone.
More than a top-rate comedienne, Judy Croone has also applied her talents to radio and television. Judy is now newsperson and co-host on Toronto's The Mix 999 morning Humble Howard Show. Her television credits include, NBC’s “Friday Night”, CBS’s 48 Hours”, A&E’s Comedy on the Road”, CBC’s “Comics”, and Comedy Network’s “Comedy Now”.
Judy is also host and creator of Laughlines- an annual all female comedy night with proceeds raised going towards breast cancer research. Laughlines has raised over $120,000 for Princess Margaret Hospital.
