Klondike Murder Hits Bronte! -----------------------------
Vicki Delany - One of Canada's most promising new practioners of the crime genre. Thanks to her talented way with words the Bronte BIA is pleased to present "Golddigger", a murder mystery dinner.
Golddigger is a light-hearted historical mystery, peopled with the array of intrepid characters who flooded into the Klondike to make Dawson, in its very short heyday, the most exciting town in the world.
This is your chance to play a part in helping the Bronte BIA raise funds for the annual Canada Day Festival by joining as cast or crowd at the Saturday March 4th, 2006 presentation of Golddigger.
---------------------------------
It's the spring of 1898 and Dawson, Yukon Territory, is the most exciting town in North America. The great Klondike Gold Rush is in full swing and Fiona MacGillivary has crawled over the Chilkoot Pass determined to make her fortune. Provided, that is a wild assortment of headstrong dancers, croupiers, gamblers, madames without hearts of gold, bar hangers-on, cheechakos and sourdoughs, and Fiona's own nimble-fingered past don’t get to her first. Oh… And then there’s the dead body on centre stage...
