Here are photos of the Bronte Idols and also the Butterfly float in the Santa Claus Parade.
Oakville’s Own Talented Youth – The Bronte Idols sang Christmas Carols from the Bronte Butterfly Float in the Santa Claus Parade and again at the Bronte Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 26 in Oakville’s Waterfront Butterfly Park Pictured from left, back row: Emilia Sadowski, Jordana Saadi, Crista Earle, Rebecca Fernandez; middle row: IIleah Rosella, Ashleigh McCarthey and Emma Smith; Front row: Dorothy and Daisy Progosh. Missing from the photo are Mikaria Straatsma and Leanne McClure. Leanne is the spokesperson for the Idols and has two CDs to her credit.
The photo was taken on the steps of Walton Memorial United Church, a lovely, traditional sanctuary overlooking Bronte Harbour in West Oakville. |
