On Saturday, November 26, the merchants of the Bronte BIA invite you to bring the whole family to Centriller Square at 2410 Lakeshore Rd. W. for a day of live entertainment, photos with Santa and holiday treats. Watch out for signs the elves have placed along the streets pointing the way to Santa.
Sounds of the holiday season will fill the air with performances from the Oakville School of Music, former Bronte Idol, Emilia Sadowski, the Ha Penny Harkers, and the Tempus Choral Society. Grab a song book and sing along.
Open House at Bronte Shops
Enjoy ‘Open House’ in Bronte Village. Look for the RED and GREEN balloons displayed. Come on in, look for that special gift! You’re welcome!
Ha'Penny Harkers
Oakville’s wonderful Victorian Carolers will entertain throughout the village dropping in and out of local businesses.
Santa and Mrs. Claus
Santa is making a special stop in Bronte before he has to be back at the North Pole getting ready for the holidays. Always THE favourite……Santa will listen to every child’s Christmas wish. Parents are invited to bring their cameras for great photos. Load them onto your Facebook page to send to family and friends.
Warm yourself with mulled cider and nibbles from Denningers, or enjoy hot chocolate and other goodies from local restaurants.
Don’t miss the ‘official tree lighting’ ceremony with Bronte BIA Chair Wylie Freeman, and special guest, Mayor Rob Burton, who will lead the countdown to the tree lighting. The wonderful Tempus Choir will sing us all into the season.
Beautiful Bronte’s the place to be for the holidays this year and every year!

Emilia, an Oakville resident and former ‘Bronte Idol’, is attending her second year at York University's prestigious jazz program where she performs frequently on many campus stages. She writes and records her own contemporary compositions which can be found on the popular YouTube channel keyfilms93 where you can get information on her up-coming projects.
Ha Penny Harkers
In their seventh musical season, this strolling Victorian group offers a blend of harmonized vocals, theatrical costuming and wonderful performers who are singers, actors and musicians in their own right. Their melodic vocals and unique visual appeal evoke visions of a Christmas past, when carolers strolled cobblestone lanes, their paths illuminated by lanterns bringing music and light to the darkest nights of the year.

Come Visit Bronte’s ‘Special’ Santa
A member of a professional group dedicated to bringing joy and keeping alive a cherished tradition.
The Santa Claus Oath
I will seek knowledge to be well versed in the mysteries of bringing Christmas cheer and good will to all the people that I encounter in my journeys and travels.
I shall be dedicated to hearing the secret dreams of both children and adults.
I understand that the true and only gift I can give, as Santa, is myself.
I acknowledge that some of the requests I will hear will be difficult and sad. I know in these difficulties there lies an opportunity to bring a spirit of warmth, understanding and compassion.
I know the "real reason for the season" and know that I am blessed to be able to be a part of it.
I realize that I belong to a brotherhood and will be supportive, honest and show fellowship to my peers.
I promise to use "my" powers to create happiness, spread love and make fantasies come to life in the true and sincere tradition of the Santa Claus Legend.
I pledge myself to these principles as a descendant of St. Nicholas the gift giver of Myra.
