Holidays One More Reason to Visit Bronte A tree lighting ceremony, horse-drawn “carriage” rides, a Barbershop singing group, children’s Christmas themed activities, great holiday food, shopping, gift ideas and of course a visit from Santa Claus himself! The holidays are just one more reason to visit Bronte.
Local merchants welcome you, your family and friends to the mirth and merriment of an ‘old-fashioned’ village Christmas. The Annual Open House takes place throughout the Bronte area on Saturday, December 1st, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Take time to visit the wonderful shops unique to Bronte. Enjoy the benefits of personal small town service and enjoy dinner at one of the popular local restaurants. By 6:30 p.m. you’ll want to be at the Butterfly Gazebo in the Bronte Harbour Historical Park for the annual tree lighting ceremony.
Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus will be on hand to greet children and families, and will lead everyone in singing treasured Christmas carols! Free hot chocolate is being provided compliments of the Lions Club of Oakville.
Don’t miss this popular holiday event! For more information about Christmas in the Village visit the Bronte Village Business Improvement Area’s web site at www.brontevillage.net.
